What you get
Scope that holds up on the roof.
Seamless aluminum formed on-site—no joints to open between the corners
Slope set by measurement, not by eye, for consistent drainage
Fascia condition checked before installation so gutters are attached to solid wood
Downspout extensions routed away from the foundation and landscaping
Gutter guard options that reduce cleaning frequency without trapping debris
Diagnostic guide
Know when to call us out.
Recognise these patterns early — the difference between a repair and a replacement is often weeks.
Gutters separating from the fascia
Gutters that sag or pull away are either overloaded or the fascia board behind the hanger has rotted. A detached run can bring fascia and soffit down with it when it finally lets go.
Soil channeling at the foundation
A trench forming along the foundation line shows where runoff is concentrating. This points to a missing or blocked downspout extension—not a grading problem.
Overflow during normal rain
Gutters that overflow in a standard rain event—not a downpour—are clogged, undersized or pitched wrong. Continuous overflow at the same point saturates the fascia and starts the rot cycle.

FAQ
Common questions
What size gutters does my house need?
Most Memphis-area homes use 5-inch K-style gutters, which handle normal roof drainage on a typical residential roof pitch. Steeper roofs, larger roof areas and houses with significant tree cover may benefit from 6-inch gutters, which move more water without backing up during a heavy rain. We size the system to the actual roof area and pitch rather than defaulting to one size for every job.
What is a seamless gutter and why does it matter?
A seamless gutter is formed from a continuous coil of aluminum to the exact length needed, so there are no joints along the runs between corners. Joints are where gutters typically fail—the sealant dries out, the joint opens and water drips directly onto the fascia. A seamless installation eliminates that failure point on every straight run.
Can bad gutters damage my foundation?
Yes. Gutters that overflow, back-pitch toward the house or dump at the foundation rather than discharging away from it concentrate water at exactly the point you do not want it. Foundation waterproofing is expensive; proper gutter drainage is one of the cheapest ways to protect it.
Should I replace gutters at the same time as a new roof?
If the gutters are original to the house and beyond their serviceable life, replacing them with the roof makes sense—the fascia is already accessible, and doing it separately later means a second round of staging. If the gutters are sound, there is no reason to replace them with the roof. We will tell you which situation you have during the inspection.
What are gutter guards and do they work?
Gutter guards are covers or inserts that keep leaves and debris out while allowing water through. They work—the question is how well and for which debris type. Reverse-curve and micro-mesh guards perform well on most debris; flat foam inserts work less well on pine needles and seed pods. None eliminate cleaning entirely; they reduce the frequency. We carry several options and will recommend based on the tree canopy around your house.
